Genesis 32:22-32
God changes the name of Jacob. Trust God because He will give you the victory over this thing!
Ephesians 6:10-18 The Whole Armor of God
Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power - His strength is made perfect in our weakness. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. While you are over there sinning, are you cussing God out or doing something wrong while Christ is being crucified for your sin?
How do we stand against the strategies of the enemy? STAND FIRM.
The scripture says to "Bless the Lord at all times..." You can't be blessing the Lord and be worried about another person at the same time.
Can God cover your mind? Because he who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide in the shadows! Keep on your armor! This way, you'll be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. The reason some of us are not standing after the battle is because you didn't put on all of your armor. God does not send you into battle without your armor. The only thing left for you to do in order to change your situation is to keep following the directions that were given: keep taking your prescription; keep putting on your armor. You're not going to just fight one battle - you will have many.
Stand your ground. How do we stand our ground? Eph 6:15 - Put on the shoes, put on the peace that comes with the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. Change a portion of your dressing closet into a prayer place. What is a dressing room? Try on the things of God in this place! Try it on and keep it on (peace, joy)!
Vs 17 - Here is your weaponry. Vs 18 - There should never be a time that we go before God without praying in the Spirit. Why? Because we don't want to pray our own will.
Pastor will say: Put on your full armor?
Pastor will ask: Did you pray in the Spirit?
Romans 8:37-39
I've conquered this and I'm living in the more - exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think. Know the difference between a pasture and the valley. Valleys are dark, wet and cold. Pastures are different - it's low ground, but it is an abundant space. This is where God will anoint your head and live in the overflow.
Struggling to overcome, so that I can obediently live in God's overflow. You cannot overcome without God - you need Him.
Three Points to Remember
Don't just say that He is your shepherd. Can He lead you out of the valley? You need the Holy Spirit - that is your cape.

Three Points to Remember
- We all are struggling to overcome something; your struggle can become a testimony once you overcome
- You are more than an overcomer: Live in green pastures
- We must overcome the struggle
