Seeking the Lord Will Lead You to a Miracle
Seek the Lord, and You Will See a Miracle
Psalm 34:10 | Those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing. A miracle is a good thing that can take place even though a bad circumstances has occurred; this is just what was manifested when Mary and her company arrived at the tomb. The earth had shaken and an angel of the Lord had to roll the stone away. His appearance was like light; His clothes were white as snow. The guards filled with fear became like dead men, but the angel said to the women who were seeking Jesus, "Be not afraid, I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is no longer here, but has risen just as He said He would. Come, and see the place where He laid. Then, go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He is risen!' "
The women did just what the Angel commanded them to, and they encountered Jesus along the way. They worshiped at his feet and were encouraged by Him to not be afraid but to tell the others to meet him in Galilee. You see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Hebrews 12:2 | New King James Version (NKJV)
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Seek God, and continue to believe Him. I may not know the details of your circumstances, but He does. Despite the appearance of it, God is still able to exceed your expectations. Continue to look, and seek God for your miracle!
What was once dead is no longer dead. What was once broken is no longer! There is a time and season for everything. Your seasons are going to change - just keep walking/living through them. Seed - Tree - Lives through many seasons. Whatever God planted in you is going to grow into something, and then it will live through many seasons. You will be rooted and grounded in Christ.
If God has made you whole; if He has given you healing...then accept it and receive it. Don't lay on your bed longer than you have to. Even in this place where you're looking for a miracle, obedience is required. You do not have to hang around the cemetery!
The Lord said that he will be with me always, even to the end of the earth. Don't be afraid, ask God for wisdom. If you want a miracle, guess what you've got to do? Make an effort (Hebrews 11:6). The reason that the women were able to make an encounter, is because they were still thinking of their Saviour. But when they got to the tomb, they found a miracle. Mountains can be moved; David defeated Goliath; because they made an effort.
As you go throughout your week; don't just dwell on Resurrection Sunday. Go throughout your year, and continue to seek the Lord.
Lord, I am going to make an effort because I believe that you can do the impossible. My heart may be heavy, and my eyes may be filled with tears, but I am going to continue to seek you. I ask you in the Name of Jesus that you release my miracle. I know that you are not afraid of my tomb. Show me your glory. I want to walk with you. I want to talk with you. I want to know you in a deeper way. You are my shepherd, my prince of peace. Lord, lay me down in green pastures.
Q: Why is it that we shouldn't be afraid of the tomb experience?
A: We must be looking for Jesus (Hebrews 11:6); the angel of the Lord will direct you to Jesus. Because God has made us whole - what was once dead is no longer dead. There is no death (death has no sting, no victory) in the tomb, for there is only God's Resurrection Power and the miracles that await us. (Matthew 28:1-7; Mark 16:4).
