Ecclesiastes 3:1-22
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
WATCH "A Time and A Season"
There is a time and a season for every activity under the heavens.
God's timing is not our timing, but our relationship and trust in God can serve as a guide and indicator concerning His correct timing and seasons for our lives.
It’s OK to be early, but don’t grow impatient as you wait on God - and don’t be afraid to ask Him for the time. We are to be anxious for nothing, and every prayer requests should be presented with Thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6-7).
Learning to tell time in our spiritual walk with God and in the day-to-day of our lives is very important. Everyone should use their time wisely and want their work to be effective. Some seasons and times will be harder than others, but God will be present in every season and time period. Trust His timing, and trust His process.
Winter doesn't always start on time, nor does summer; but seasons will always change. And God will be present and in control of every season.
Reflecting:
Q: What should you do when God makes you a promise?
A: Begin preparing yourself
N: Understand that God is always on time (ref. The Book of John). Sometimes God is waiting on us to make preparations within our heart.
