You must choose today who is going to be on your mind. Sometimes you must just stop and let everything be completely quiet - without anything running through your mind. This way, you can hear the Lord speak and will call, "Peace, be still" for you. Cross Reference - Mark 4:39
Zacchaeus was a Short Man - if he would have allowed his through process as a "short man" to get in his way then he never would have had an encounter with Jesus. Sometimes, we focus so much on our imperfections, that we miss our encounter with Jesus.
VS 5 - There is a spot for your moment that God designated.

EVENING WORSHIP REFLECTIONS
In order for you to have a life-changing moment, you have to actually be seeking the Lord. There are some actions that we must take in order to have a change with the Lord. Begin to change your mindset. Cross-Reference: "Faith without works is dead" - James 2:17. Begin to let the Lord change you.
So, how exactly do we come about this "change," this life-changing moment?
- You have to call and you have to seek the Lord in order to get the change.
- Now, you must submit, because there is some molding process that must go on.
Often times, we have an experience - a holy experience, a dynamic experience with the Lord; some have even had an "out-of-body experience." But we forget to live always in that continuous experience. We "disengage" ourselves, and refuse to live in an elevated state of mind - that on-going elevated moment that creates a wonderful array of Christ-moments. "A moment with Jesus turns into a lifetime of experiences."
Can God undress you with the issues that you should not have on? Old or young, everyone has something that they are struggling with. Jesus died to create a place for all of us at the cross. Let us run to the feet of Jesus and dwell there so that we both can have a change there. Why do things keep falling? Because we have not practiced unity! Your attitude can cause separation - no matter how old you are, change your attitude!
Those who have chosen to be in the safety of the kingdom will be safe; but those who are lukewarm and continue to go in and out of the gate will get caught on the outside of it.
VS 7a - Banish: to cast out, never to return
What does regulation mean? It means to control it - to make sure it's going the right way!
VS 7b"forgive" - in some translations, this word says "pardon." We must be thankful that the sentence we would have served is not what we will serve because the Lord has "pardoned" us!
Cross-Reference Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" - we can't get over our thoughts, and that is why we have not seen the abundance.
Say, "This is my moment!" God says, "You control it, but you've got to want it!" The anointing that is on your life is too great to fit in. It's not going to work; you were created to stand out. This is your day, your opportunity to leave here differently.
Matthew 9:20-22 - The Woman with the Issue of Blood
Everyone around this woman and around Jesus was dirty. If everyone would have have the mindset that this woman had, there would have been more than just one distinguished touch. My home can be different! My marriage can be different! I CAN HAVE A ROCK-SOLID RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. There's an old gospel hymn that states, "Every day with Jesus, is sweeter than the day before."

Let us state, live and personalize this prayer: Lord, I'm removing the weights that have hindered me from my moments. There's been missed ops, but today I'm going to take full advantage of every new one that you put before me. This is my prayer, in the Name of Jesus.

Press toward the mark - many of us take this text as a look back over our sins; what this actually means is that I am still pressing toward the mark, and I am looking back over my accomplishments in Him. So, you're either one of two places: still striving, or you're at the mark.
Luke 8:43-48 - The Woman with the Issue of Blood
Everybody in the crowd had issues, but only one woman had a "moment." I must take this moment to have God "teach me thy ways, so that I may continue to find favor." This woman was humble and bold at the same time. She didn't push anyone out of her way, but she was bold enough to even die for this act (coming back into society after she had been exiled for being "unclean").
VS 46 - When you touch God, does power leave him or does he get agitated and aggravated. How does God see you when you present yourself? Are you a hell-raiser or a peace-maker?
VS 45 - Those who denied it left there with the same issues.
VS 46 - She was deliberate, and God was deliberate. Are you deliberately touching the Lord? Deliberately touch the Lord, and He will meet you half-way. Hebrews 11:6 - We must first believe that "He IS!" That He exists.
**But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.**
Hebrews 11:1 - "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
